Dear colleagues and partners!
SOL instruments conducted two-days theoretical and practical workshop “Raman spectroscopy. Confocal Raman microscopes Confotec®”, in which representatives of universities, research institutes and other organizations from Russia and Belarus took part. The workshop was very interesting and productive.
On the first day of the workshop speakers of our company, as well as invited lecturers demonstrated the results of their research in the field of Raman spectroscopy.
The following themes were discussed:
- Raman microsсopy application: The overview. (Russian)
Speaker: Mr. Sergej Shashkov, Ph.D., Senior Research Engineer, Analytical & Measurement Group, SOL instruments Ltd. (Minsk, Belarus) - Surface Enhanced Raman Spectrosсopy (SERS) for the recognition of biological compounds: recent achievements and new results. (Russian)
Speaker: Dr. Hanna Bandarenka, Deputy Vice-Rector of R&D Department, Associate Prof. at Micro- and Nanoelectronics Department, Belarussian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics - New approaches for supersensitive detection of biological molecules in living cells using surface enhanced Raman spectrosсopy (SERS). (Russian)
Speaker: Darya Raduk, Ph.D., Senior Researcher, Micro- and Nanoelectronics Department, Belarussian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics - Raman Spectrosсopy as a tool to investigate the structure, electronic properties and thermal conductivity of graphene. (English)
Speaker: I. Komissarov, Ph.D., Leading Researcher, Micro- and Nanoelectronics Department, Belarussian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics
The second day of the workshop was devoted to the demonstration of 3D Scanning Laser Confocal Raman Microscopes Confotec® NR500 and Confotec® MR150.
We also express our gratitude to all participants and speakers.
